It's Now or Never
Updated: Aug 29, 2019
It's true what they say: Take those leaps of faith. I'm taking one right now - my first real leap - and I don't know what I am doing, but God does. Just hear me out.
Let me start off by saying, I'm just like you. We probably are scared to do certain things because of false limits we place on ourselves. If that's not you, it will be, one day. I can tell you this, though. That's me...at least it was, kinda.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. - Jeremiah 29:11
I've recently REALLY realized that no matter what I do, I cannot stop God's plan. It doesn't matter if I fail at what I attempted to do or not, I cannot stop God's plan. Whether you believe in God or not, we cannot stop God's plan. Again, hear me out.
That Literal Leap of Faith
Just under two years ago, I had no idea what I was doing with my life. Now, I'm attempting to write my first blog post. I'm not here to preach to you, but I am here to tell you how much life has changed, and this is the first post, the intro.
This is how it's going down: I'm just going to write what is on my mind. You can follow my journey or not. It's okay with me, but you'd be missing out on one great movie-worthy life if you don't.
SO, we're going to go fast here. The leap of faith that started all this was me following Jesus. You think I'm crazy, well I am, so there. Well, fast forward a couple of years when I start maturing and knowing God more, and BOOM: I'm urged to take up audio, and now I kinda have a life. Crazy. You really should have seen my life before; I was a stage one shut-in. Anyway, at first, I was scared, and my mom was, too, because she doesn't want a daughter who is 35 living at home because her "calling" didn't turn into a career. (I'm 21, BTW.) But, I realized I really don't know what else to do besides audio, so this is going to have to do and I have no other choice than to be great. I have to become great, so what do I do? I take up any opportunity that comes my way, which is how I'm developing a social life, now. Crazy. It's so crazy that I started a website and a blog so I can network and tell/show people for themselves how crazy my life has become. I'm telling ya, my life is movie-worthy.
All this to say that God really is faithful... and He's not this boring deity society makes Him out to be. You want an adventure? Follow Jesus. Trust me; if you're feeling lost right now, take my advice. God has a future for you, like he has for me. It may be different, but He's going to give you something that no one, not even you, can give to you: Life. Here and beyond.
